Warranty Request – The Mobility Shop

This Warranty Policy applies to products supplied by MEDIMECS PTY LTD (ABN: 69 664 632 259) trading as The Mobility Shop. All products are supplied in accordance with Australian Consumer Law, which provides consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded.

Australian Consumer Guarantees

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Manufacturer Warranty

Many of our products include a specific manufacturer’s warranty. These warranties:

  • Have durations and conditions set by the manufacturer.

  • Operate in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

  • Details of specific warranty periods are usually included in the product packaging.

How to Submit a Warranty Request

To lodge a warranty request, please notify us within 14 days of noticing the defect. Please provide the following:

  1. Order Number or Proof of Purchase.

  2. Description of the issue.

  3. Photos or Videos showing the fault (to speed up the assessment).

Assessment Process

Once your request is received, we will assess whether the issue falls under a manufacturer warranty or Australian Consumer Law guarantees.

  • Inspection: In some cases, the product may need to be returned to our Goolwa location for physical inspection.

  • Shipping: If a fault is confirmed under warranty or ACL, The Mobility Shop will cover all shipping costs for the repair or replacement.

  • Timeline: We aim to provide an initial assessment within 3-5 business days.

Exclusions

Warranty coverage typically does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or incorrect installation.

  • Damage caused by unauthorised repairs or modifications.

  • Accidental damage.
